Leveraging GP Power Tools as a Developer

GP Power Tools has scripting capabilities which can be used for troubleshooting and fixing issues as well as prototyping and creating customizations. During this session, David and Mariano will demonstrate how you can use Dexterity, Transact-SQL, C# and/or VB.Net code to find issues, create fixes and customize the user interface. GP Power Tools can be used to create custom report writer functions to return difficult to access data. You can also create custom Service procedures which can be called as web services. In this session, Steve Endow will share his experiences creating RESTful web APIs for Dynamics GP to help customers integrate with other systems and external SaaS providers. Full project source code will be provided to demonstrate ASP.NET Core project structure, EF Core scaffolding, middleware, logging, Swagger API documentation, and eConnect integrations to Dynamics GP.
